CREATIVITY is a rack card that was designed to be displayed by the creative services department at Harper College. New students would be able to come in and look at something created by their peers and be inspired and excited about becoming a graphic designer. Each card tells the story of a highlighted designer and their process, successes, and motivation of being a Graphic Designer.

Anansi an entirely new template for the rack card, and introduced a more visual and compelling rack card than the more traditional cards of the past. Artwork and other modern visual elements are incorporated for the first time. The new nameplate is set in Daidalos, which is based on fonts created for new creative modern use. The letterforms a built entirely out of lines, which the eye interprets as a modern maze. This optical effect nicely ties into the idea of creativity’s inner workings within the brain and the pathways creatives use to bring designs to life.
